FormlyAI ("we", "us", "our") values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information — especially voice recordings — when you use our Android app.

Information We Collect

• Voice recordings: When you use voice features, short audio clips or transcriptions are captured to convert speech into structured form fields.
• Form content: Generated forms, form responses, and metadata (timestamps, field types).
• Device & usage data: Device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, and basic analytics.

How We Use Voice & Text Data

Voice recordings and their transcriptions are processed to provide the core service — transforming speech into structured forms. We may:

• Send audio or text to third-party speech-to-text and AI services (for example OpenAI) to generate form structure and improve accuracy.
• Store recordings and transcriptions temporarily to perform processing and to allow users to re-edit or export forms.
• Use anonymized or aggregated data to improve models and service quality.

Important: We do not sell your voice recordings or form contents to third parties. We only share data with service providers necessary to deliver the product (e.g., cloud speech-to-text or AI providers) and under contract.

User Controls

• Recordings and generated forms are stored locally by default. You can delete any saved recordings or forms from the app.
• We provide toggles to opt out of optional analytics and model improvement data sharing.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. Third-party providers used for AI or speech processing have their own security practices which we evaluate before integration.

Data Retention

We retain voice recordings and transcriptions only as long as necessary to provide the service, unless you explicitly save them. Retention periods and deletion options are available in-app.
